We stayed at this hotel for a short break. It was really great. Very friendly staff, almost family atmosphere. A great breakfast, no wishes remained unfulfilled. Everything was there that you need for a good, invigorating breakfast. The room was very nice, great view of the valley. In summer you can sit there on the balcony. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of storage space. We would love to come back.

Very nice view of the garden and winter garden, nice staff. Main course cordon bleu with fries was very good. The starter patty soup was bland, and I didn't particularly like the crema catalan dessert. Actually four stars, but since the corona regulations were not adhered to (no data collection and not everyone from the staff who came to our table wore mouth and nose protection) there is a star deduction.

Wonderful atmosphere! Great service, friendly hosts! We were perfectly happy. Everyone is open to new ideas and very open to criticism. Always worth a visit to Sasbachwalden and enjoy the view with a great meal.

Since the restaurant was closed on the day of our arrival, there were great recommendations for neighboring restaurants. At sunset, we were allowed to help ourselves from the wine cooler. And then the sunset from the garden terrace, a dream. The room was super clean and had great beds. For breakfast there was everything your heart desires. Fresh rolls, homemade jam, eggs in every variation, delicious fruit salad, tea or coffee, yeast plaits, cheese and sausage. Just great. We say thank you for the great friendship. We have already been there 4 times to eat with a family visit after hiking. Very good food, courteous service. View and the tranquility of madness Enjoy the sunset and experience it incredibly beautiful. Please keep it up !!! 👍😃

Simply the most beautiful and nicest guest house in the entire valley. The location is fantastic, the view breathtaking and the service and hospitality of the host and lady are unheard of. Dearest people who are overly caring. Fine cuisine and delicious beers. Nice terrace, clean spacious rooms. Really great for a few days.

We booked quite spontaneously, which was easy and super friendly and brisk, because we urgently needed a little break and it was worth it! I have already traveled a lot in Germany and abroad and am therefore very picky about accommodations, but have never been welcomed so warmly. The room was very clean, the food was fantastic, the whole staff was committed and always on the go with a smile. The location is beautiful either way. terrible place, owner is not kind at all, towels comes one time in a week, no cleaning room at all.... no phone signal, no wifi signal... worst place ever and i sleep in 1000 hotels, but this..... HORIBLE!!!!!!

The hotel is 750 meters above sea level on the road that leads to the summits (regular passages and backfiring motorcycles). The welcome is warm, although the owner is not always present at the hotel (use the phone). From the bedroom a breathtaking view: on the right side we can furtively see Strasbourg and its cathedral (a little hidden), in the distance the blue line of the Vosges (from the North) in front of the Rhine plain and the small German towns. The breakfast is very generous and of good quality. Accessible on foot 1 km: the ruin of Brigitenschloss (beautiful panorama) which is reached by a path in the forest decorated with large rocks with strange shapes. A bus also stops right next to the hotel to go up to the peaks and the high-altitude lake of Mummelsee.

Very clean, friendly host, amenities, homey decor, kitchen & common room accessible 24/7 with avalable refreshments by honor system..... i feel moe like a (king) guest than a customer!

The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking however you can't enjoy them from the economic rooms :) The room was clean and it's confortable. There is a small city that seemed very nice and friendly (5 mins by car).
